    I'm a woman and I don't relate at all to this notion that "women don't bond over activities" and "just because we went to dinner a couple of times doesn't mean we're friends". I feel like I'm from a different planet from people when they talk about this stuff. I absolutely consider other women my friends when we connect over activities. There's a reason most people's friends are people from work, after all, since you spend hours a day doing activities with those people. I don't agree with any of this at all. It's so reductive.

    Also does not help how, when you barely turned 18 your parents were already talking about how you needed to "contribute more" towards the bills or move out. I barely started my degree and I was helping my mom with her own school fees and some bills and gas money, and groceries. And now at 23, graduated from college, I have a "grace period," until I am expected to pay bills. How am I supposed to actually begin to think about moving out when I already know that all my check is probably going to go to their bills and my own personal bills, such as buying a car? How am I supposed to save? The problem is not only the predatory job market full of ridiculous experience requirements of an entry level role, or scams, it's also my early 70s born parents who keep trying to push the narrative of how I was supposed to be moved out at 18, and if I continue to live here, then I have to essentially give them almost half of my paycheck so they can "pay the bills," when I already know it will be go straight to their pockets instead. Or how I have to hear about how I am supposed to be retiring them and taking care of them? Being born poor and then pushed all my life to go to college just means go to college and become the breadwinner for me. I do not think I will ever retire my parents, even if I wanted to and had the means to. Once I am gone, I am gone, and they won't get me back. Of course my first battle is with the job market first.

    No offense to Simone but she set herself to be disrespected and keeps setting herself up and has so little insight in how a man treats & talks about a woman he cherishes and feels lucky to have (both partners should feel this way). Idk why she wasn’t taught this but she has a history of “telling on herself” of how she feels about herself - i first noticed when she shared with the whole world that if she had a movie done about her she wanted to be portrayed Zendaya Coleman (lmfao). She sometimes tries to use reverse psychology when people are pointing out how little this woman values herself _(by saying things like commentators are actually the ones who want her to hate herself rather than her doing that fine on her own and her commentators simply wanting her to hold herself to a higher standard)_ but everyone sees right through it. It’s kinda sad but she’s a grown woman and is probably too smug with other women to actually listen so whatever happens in her relationship happens. Hopefully it improves but I’m not getting my hopes up

    Others judge a woman based on her boyfriend’s actions in her absence. If someone’s actions make you feel ashamed, why stay with them? Why is the way they behave upsetting us? They do not speak for your character. Even if you might not agree with all they do, it is impractical to pressure someone to live up to your standards to improve your image. Why do we live our lives trying to achieve unachievable perfection?

    What % of white women between the ages of 18-45 become actresses or work in media? If that % is less than 5%, what possessed tou to believe that getting a degree in communications and acting, which I assume cost you tens of thousands of dollars, would ensure that YOU would be in that %? Maybe "I can be anything I want" is only as true as "I can be anything someone is willing to pay me to be". One option, gig work where people pay you to act like someone they can talk to... or where you pretend to be their friend online?

  • @NoeMontie

    I think the sweet spot or balance. Will be the men be like the Henry Cavil, strong, smart and knows how to express himself. Warn on the express himself, not be a baby crying about everything, but be able to articulate what the things bother him in the relationship, and also be able to show what he likes, and you know. Be a good partner. But women if find I man like that don't think he will surrender to your emotional games or something else. You need to be emotional mature too. The first thing he will do it, on the first sign of imature emotional he'll walk away without look back. And make a correction Simping for the male audience is not when the man show interesting in to a woman and want to give her attention. Simping it's when a male give everything for a woman who DON"T WANT him. Is not something reciprocal, like one of you simping for man who don't want you too. Truth is the people lost the way of comunication, everything is extreme, I don't see how soft boys can help our society is a wild world out there. But also the RED PILL BOY never gonna do anything too. I think the world was hold by the average people, I truly believe man don't need all the time serious, but it's difficult when he tells something personal and the first thing his partner do is throw in his face on the first opportunity. This apply from both sides, because if you study psychology one day in your life, people like to have the attention of the person they're attract to with. Nobody likes a stranger looking at you lustfully, man and woman. So in the end we just need to be more open about this things. But sinces the brainroot books started to become famous like "10 Steps to Get something", "10 Rules to Rule." . People start to condess every person inside the box and make a formula to get anyone. In the end we just make us more lonely and divide then ever. Its sad.

    Can’t forget about how expensive cars are. Due to rampant out of control EPA regulations that are making new cars way too expensive and last half as long as they used to. This makes used cars double the price they used to be. So. If a car is too expensive, how are you going to go to work to earn enough for these rents? It isn’t getting better folks. It’s getting worse.

    As a straight man, the future is bright for us men. We men around the whole world are creating female sex android, spending millions and billions, making it more realistic every year, with artificial intelligence. Plus artificial wombs. We men came into conclusion that we don't need a biological women, who hate us, just for existing. So we will make you absolute. I don't hate women, I love women, mentally, physically and emotionally. It's just the future due to women hatred towards us men. Of course women will take the technology and create their own male sex android, which would less likely be a male, because most women are not into men, so they technically don't need the technology, but if some do, we don't care.

    The thing with expecting guys to be 'old fashioned/traditional' etc and pay for everything, is that you then have to be okay with them expecting the old fashioned, traditional things from you. I personally would rather pay for my own coffee/dinner/any beauty treatments I opt for and have equally split housework, but different strokes for different folks I guess. Just don't expect to have your cake and eat it too

      It can never be really equal. He can never split childbirth and breastfeeding

    • @thelostpumpkin4146
      @thelostpumpkin4146 2 дні тому

      @@ElizabethUkeh Just because individual tasks can't be split down the middle doesn't mean it can't still be equal. Eg if one partner is breastfeeding/pumping, maybe the other partner is responsible for everything else feeding related- sterilising bottles, burping, cooking meals, feeding other children, etc. It's about finding a division of labour that's equitable for you. I'm entirely responsible for the car, my partner is entirely responsible for the pets- things like that. I also don't think things like childbirth and breastfeeding really factor into early relationship behaviours- if you've been with someone three months is the thought process REALLY 'he needs to pay for my eyelash extensions because one day we might get married and have kids and then I'll be breastfeeding'? Even then- the extra support when the hypothetical kids come will be a lot more valuable than beauty treatments or margs. Not saying guys can't do both, but just thinking if you bring old fashioned values into dating, don't be too shocked if they do the same.

    On the topic of visual aging, I think both Gen Z and Millennials look younger than they are. BUT I also think kids are skipping the "awkward preteen" phase.

  • @Angel_Auraa
    @Angel_Auraa 2 дні тому

    I'm sandwiched in between Gen Z and Millennial, but I resonate more with Gen Z and I classify as one despite growing up thinking I was a Millennial. 😅 Loneliness is a big thing. COVID hit after I graduated high school, but my loneliness epidemic started before COVID. I do think technology isolates us. I heard Gen Z's think it's easier to make conversation irl with a Millennial, Gen X, and older than it is to make a conversation with another Gen Z. Plus no one wants to admit they're lonely, and being in a commited relationship isn't seen as "cool." Hookup culture is seen as cool. Being clingy isn't seen as cool. Plus having kids doesn't seem possible. And the job market is so weird these days. I do think both Millennials and Gen Z were called "lazy, ungrateful, complain too much" at one point. We're actually quite similar. Gen Z's are turning out to be mini Millennials.

    One thing I noticed Gen Z only related to anyone famous if they are an activist, honest, funny, kind, and poised. People like Donald Sutherland, Jane Fonda, Pedro Pascal for examples are older generations but those are the ones Gen Z finds relatable because they are being themselves, but outliers to Hollywood in the best way possible. That’s why they say use your fame for good, for changing the world, not for getting free stuff and creating an unrelated wider gap to the public.

    Having a bad man is extremely detrimental. So yes liability is correct. If you look at the stats married men make more money, live longer and are happier than married women. Single childless women are happiest. Males need to exploit our labour us in order to survive. That's why they spend all day ranting and raving on the internet because they're not the lucky ones with a personal slave. Don't be like shera eat the meat and spit out the bones. Yes she's telling women to choose better but I heard she was a side chick and not afraid to use 🪄 At the end of the day patriarchy is to blame. If men want to change the narrative they need to step they cookies up. 30 years ago all they needed was a job in order to be interesting. In 2024 we asking for emotional intelligence, integrity, communication skills and some financial stability and now they ready to jump of a bridge and take us down with them. #nomore

    Kylie’s 3-5 brands away from solidifying her name w/ bad products, I’m surprised she hasn’t ever tried putting out a product that’s actually good. I’ve never bought a single kardashian product, but based on opinions I’ve heard over the years, Good American and Skims have garnered customers who don’t gaf who’s behind it bc the product is quality enough to be bought w/ or w/out the name. If Kylie maybe put more passion and made quality pieces into brands like Kylie Baby, or Ky, I don’t think we’d be seeing her out here struggling to open new brands and promoting mobile game apps

    Women wouldnt be settling alot of women believe their value is much higher then it is in reality, men dont value the same things you do, you might have a high paying job but if your ugly that man could make 30k a year but hed be settling for you because your ugly or fat or whatever...just because you think your value is higher then it really is doesnt mean your settling it just means you found your actual worth on the open market

    I’m just happy someone is pointing out the dysfunction within the dating world. Every time people do on TikTok or instagram women will attack each other. It’s tearing us apart more than it brings us together.

    My issue with "the bare minimum" is that the term has to mean something measurable. Once women started changing what counted as the bare minimum five times a week, based on whatever new thing they saw on TikTok that day, it became a rigged game for men. And once men determined that the game is rigged the smart move is not to play.

      If someone called what I did for my husband the “bare minimum” or what he did for me the “bare minimum” I would be so pissed because we do all that I can. Some people use the term in a relatively fair way but there are so many people using to mean “enough to keep me from leaving immediately but not as much as I want for my personal gratification” and it’s ridiculous Men who aren’t engaging with women because of it are only making themselves miss out. I don’t have TikTok or other social media profiles and haven’t been brainwashed and neither has the company I keep. It’s not that hard to find a woman who is critical of what she sees online, just don’t date women who whine and complain about men online and you’re good. There’s billions of people in the world and online algorithms have a negativity bias- it’s really good at making the minority of women/men in the world seem like a larger percentage than it is in reality

      @@maenad1231 You're not wrong, but you are missing a large factor in this calculation. Marriage is supposed to be forever, but you can only account for this influence in the present as a man. If the women that a man marries starts following this content 5 years later he's still screwed; if she starts watching it 10 or 20 years later he's still screwed. Society right now does not want people to be happily married, so it's not enough to marry someone because they are a good person, if they can't withstand decades of attack from the world around them. For people who want to leave the country, to date I think this is one of the reasons. Its easier to date in a society that supports marriage, but here you have to factor in the endurance of the woman that you choose because society will try to come at her everyday until your marriage breaks.

    I definitely remember feeling embarrassed about sharing the boys I liked in highschool and it actually really affected my friendships back then, my friends wouldn’t share about their boyfriends w me too, because they knew that the way that they were being treated was not ok to me. I’ve had friends who I have stopped talking to because I couldn’t stand their partners. Because they do insist on staying, and it became unhealthy for our relationship. It’s hard because you don’t want to leave your friend over something like that, but if your friend is only talking about the struggles they’re having w their boyfriend, it’s just hard to have a friendship at that point, and I actually started to resent my friends instead of feeling for them. When you as a woman are embarrassed of your partner, it actually pushes you away from your friends. It sounds super cheesy but if you don’t share your struggles w your friends either, then you get stuck only depending on your partner. It’s so hard to explain and this video definitely made me remember all the dynamics I experienced back then.
